Privacy

The short version: this is a static site with no accounts and no database. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not sell data about you. Google shows ads on this site outside the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and Google sets cookies to do it. That section is below and it is the one part of this page that involves another company.

What we do not collect

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to hold.
• No wallet connection. The site never asks you to connect a wallet and cannot see your addresses or balances.
• No mailing list. We run no newsletter and hold no email addresses. There is no signup form on this site.
• No sale of personal data. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with data brokers. We take no sponsorship and use no affiliate links. Nobody pays us to describe a token, and no issuer has ever paid us anything.

Advertising

This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google is a separate company and it sets its own cookies in your browser. Read what that means in their terms, not in ours: How Google uses information from sites that use its services .

Three things about how we run it, because each one limits what Google receives.

• The ads are non-personalized. We tell Google not to use your past behaviour to choose them. Ads are selected from the page you are reading and your rough location. Google still sets cookies for frequency limits and fraud prevention, and it says so at the link above.
• Readers in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland get no ads. We send no ad code to those 44 countries and territories, or to a reader whose country we cannot identify. Google requires a consent banner for readers in those places, and this site does not use banners. So the ad code is never sent there rather than being sent and switched off.
• The ad code is not in the page we publish. It is added at our edge server for each request, after your country is known. The published files contain no ad code, and a build check fails if any ever appears in them.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser, and the site works normally without them. You can also turn off ad personalization across Google at My Ad Center , although we already request non-personalized ads here.

What is collected

Aggregate analytics

If enabled, we use a cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics service that reports aggregate page views and referrers. It does not fingerprint visitors, follow you across sites, or store data that identifies you.

Server logs

Our host records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and abuse prevention, retained on the host's own schedule. We do not mine them.

Your country, at the edge

Our host tells our edge server which country your request came from. We use it for one decision, once per request: whether to add the ad code. We do not store it, log it, or attach it to anything else.

Gwei, Inc. holds no email addresses, no accounts and no database. There is no store of personal data here for anyone to lose, subpoena or buy. What Google collects is held by Google, and the link above is where they describe it.

Third parties

Our build job reads public blockchain data from public RPC endpoints, block explorers and market data providers before a page is published. Your browser does not contact those services when you open a page. We link to third-party sites, and their privacy practices are their own. No link on this site is paid for: we use no affiliate links and take no sponsorship. Google AdSense is described in its own section above. It is the only third party that sets a cookie here.

Your rights

We hold nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing to request from us. Email gweistocksonchain@gmail.com and we will tell you what we hold, which we expect to be nothing. Data that Google collects through its ads is held by Google, and their link above explains how to see and control it. Under the GDPR and similar laws you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
